Six Huskers Capture Academic All-Big Ten Accolades

Six Husker men's golfers earned Academic All-Big Ten accolades on Thursday when the conference announced its list of honorees for spring sports in 2015.

Josh Reinertson earned his fourth award at Nebraska. The Gibbon, Neb., native majored in Business Administration and played in every tournament his senior campaign. Ross Dickson was named to the team for his third time. The London, England, native also played in every tournament in his senior season and majored in advertising and public relations.

Three Huskers made their second appearance in the list. Mike Siwa was one of them, and majored in accounting. Aaron and Nate Wong both made the list. Both are advertising and public relations/broadcasting majors. Justin Jennings earned his first Academic All-Big Ten honor. Jennings is a finance major from Amarillo, Texas.

The announcement Thursday brings Nebraska's total Academic All-Big Ten honorees to 26 since joining the conference. That number passes the number of Academic All-Big 12 members under head coach Bill Spangler, which was 25.
