April 6: Husker Q&A

This week, I asked each player one question and told them to answer with the first person on the team that came to their mind. The name of the person who answered the question follows the question.

Who is the best dancer on the team? (Emily)

• Kiki is the best dancer because we often watch dancing videos together, and she is the only one I know that can re-enact them perfectly.

Who is the most likely to over pack? (Taylor)

• Gina for sure because over spring break she packed two buckets of hair supplies and a whole bag of clothes.
• Note: Over spring break the dorms are closed and each freshman has to pick an upper classman to live with for the week. Their other option is to stay in a hotel, but more often than not the freshman choose someone to stay with.

Who has the worst smelling batting gloves? (Gina)

• Madi U. because she always wears it underneath of her catchers mit.

Who is the most apt to forget to fill out their food order? (Madi U.)

• Rachel, she even gets a reward sticker every time she completes an order form on time.
• Note: Before every trip that we take, our Director of Softball Operations (DOSO), Katie Brown, sends out a food order form. We must fill it out by Tuesday before practice so that she can call and pre-order our food for the weekend. If you don’t fill it out by Tuesday before practice, Katie will fill it out for you.

• Cassie

Who is the worst singer on the team? (Alicia)

• Mattie Fowler – without staying on pitch being a factor, she just struggles with the lyrics and often times just makes up her own words which she believes are better.

Who is the worst driver? (Ky)

• Taylor

Who is the biggest shopaholic? (Kiki)

• Lotte – she even had to buy a random pole to put across her closet for the clothes that wouldn’t fit on the two poles already provided.

Who has the biggest sweet tooth? (Dawna)

• MJ – she just simply LOVES ice cream.

Who is a night owl? (Steph)

• Dawna

Who takes the longest to get ready for games? (Kaylan)

• Emily because her hair always has to lay perfectly before she can even go into the clubhouse.

Who is most excited to get home to their pet after an away weekend? (Lotte)

• Ky - she loves seeing going home to see her dog Otis after a weekend away.

Who is most creative with their hair? (Caitlin)

• Austen – it seems like every day she can find something new to do with her hair.

Who is most likely to binge watch a show/TV series? (Rachel)

• Kat – her obsession with One Tree Hill is unreal

Who watches the most reality TV? (Mattie)

• Alicia – her shows include: Gypsy Sisters, Keeping up with the Kardashians, 19 Kids and Counting, Long Island Medium, The Bachelor, Battle of the Exes, Real World, Kendra on Top.

Who is most likely to be a coach someday? (Austen)

• Caitlin

Who is the best cook? (MJ)

• Stephanie loves cooking, and she’s pretty darn good at it too.

Who has the most entertaining snap chat stories? (Kat)

• Laura – she always seems to find a way to catch the most embarrassing moments. Not only of her teammates, but also of herself awkwardly singing. . .alone.

Who is the most likely to sleep through her alarm? (Cassie)
