Van der Meer Earns NTCA All-America Honorable Mention

Taylor, MI - Nebraska senior Danielle van der Meer was voted to the Honorable Mention list of NTCA All-Americans. The awards were released at the NCAA Championships banquet. The Hilversum, Netherlands native participated in every tournament of the year for the Huskers and is a 3-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Van der Meer has also garnered numerous all-tournament team designations and is a current member of the Academic All-Big 12 At-Large team.

Van der Meer was honored as an NTCA Third-Team All-American in 2009 as well. The Huskers are currently competing at the 2011 NCAA Championships.
