The No. 36 Nebraska Cornhuskers will hit the road for a four-match trip that includes stops in Baton Rouge, La., Starkville, Miss., and Albuquerque, N.M. The Huskers will face the No. 44 LSU Tigers, the No. 33 Mississippi Bulldogs, the No. 40 New Mexico Lobos and the No. 51 Fresno State Bulldogs. The Huskers are 7-3 on the road this year.
Nebraska's first match will be against the Tigers of LSU. The match will be held on Tuesday, March 22, at 3 p.m. at ‘Dub' Robinson Stadium. The Tigers are 6-9 on the year while playing a tough schedule that includes facing 12 nationally ranked teams so far.
The second stop of the road trip for the Huskers will be in Starkville, Miss., when NU will face off against the Bulldogs of Mississippi State. The match against the Bulldogs will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. Mississippi State is 8-4 on the year.
The Huskers will then make their third and final stop on the road trip in Albuquerque, N.M., where they will play a pair of matches at the Linda Estes Tennis Complex. The first match will be on Friday, March 25, against the Lobos of New Mexico. The match will begin at 2 p.m. The second match will come when NU faces Fresno State. The Bulldogs are 6-7 on the year. The match will be held on Saturday, March 26. The time of the match is still to be announced.
Last Weekend: Huskers Crush Crusaders
Nebraska started their five-match road trip off with a win over William Carey University last Saturday. The Huskers defeated the Crusaders, 7-0.
The Huskers started the match off by winning the doubles point when they won all three matches.
In singles play, the Huskers won all six matches.
At the No. 1 spot, NU's Calin Paar downed WCU's Jody Claassen, 1-6, 7-5, 10-6. Paar's match was the only match to go three sets.
At the No. 2 spot, Nebraska's Benedikt Lindheim knocked off Thomas Rizk, 6-1, 6-0. NU's Tom Blackwell won his match at the No. 3 spot. Blackwell defeated Toni Gauta, 6-2, 6-4.
Andre Stenger of Nebraska defeated Dominik Kardell, 6-0, 6-3. Stenger was playing at the No. 4 spot in the Huskers' line-up. At the No. 5 spot was Robert Schulze, who downed Younes Hidass, 6-4, 6-2. Eric Sock was at the No. 6 spot of the Huskers. Sock defeated Anton Ivanov, 6-2, 6-1.

Scouting the LSU Tigers
The LSU Tigers are No. 44 in the country, and have a 6-9 mark on the year. The Tigers have had a tough schedule so far, facing 12 nationally ranked opponents while going 3-9 against them. The Tigers are 5-2 at home this season with wins over No. 16 Michigan, No. 29 Ole Miss and No. 41 Rice. LSU is lead by No. 91 Neal Skupski, who is 4-8 on the year playing at the No. 1 spot. The Tigers are coached by Jeff Brown. This is Brown's 12th season at the helm.
Scouting the Mississippi State Bulldogs
Mississippi State is 8-4 on the season and is ranked No. 33. The Bulldogs are 3-1 at home. In their last match on March 19, the Bulldogs down SEC foe, South Carolina, 7-0. Mississippi State has three players ranked in the top-100. Those three players include, No. 84 Artem Ilyushin who is 7-5 while playing the majority of his matches at the No. 2 spot, No. 85 George Coupland who is 6-6 while playing most of his matches at the No. 1 spot and No. 92 Louis Cant 8-3 on the year while playing the majority of his matches at the No. 5 spot. Mississippi State is coached by Per Nilsson, who is in his fourth season.
Scouting the New Mexico Lobos
The New Mexico Lobos are ranked No. 40 in the country with a record of 11-4. The Lobos are 9-1 at home and 0-1 while facing ranked teams. A player to look out for is the Lobo's Jadon Phillips, who is 9-5 on the year while playing all of his matches at the No. 1 spot. New Mexico is coached by Alan Dias. This is Dias' 14th season as head coach.
Scouting the Fresno State Bulldogs
Fresno State is 6-7 and ranked No. 51. On the road, the Bulldogs are 1-5. In their last match, the Bulldogs defeated No. 50 Santa Clara, 4-3. Fresno State has one ranked player in No. 79 Remi Boutillier. Fresno State is coached by Jay Udwadia, who is in his seventh year.
