The Nebraska rifle team begins its 2010-11 campaign with two matches at the NU Rifle Range this weekend. The Huskers take on Memphis on Friday, before facing Army on Sunday. Both matches start at 8 a.m.
Nebraska returns five members from last year's squad, led by senior Ryann McGough. Three new faces will be on the range for NU, including junior transfer Katelyn Woltersdorf, freshman Sunny Russell and freshman Reann Wilson.
"The team has been training hard for the past month and a half, and they are ready to see all that work pay off," Nebraska Coach Morgan Hicks said. "This is just the start of our season, so we have a long way to go, but I really anticipate great things with the team that we have this year."
