Thirteen Huskers Named to Honor Roll

Thirteen Nebraska softball players were among 328 University of Nebraska student-athletes named to the 2010 Big 12 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Twelve of the 13 honorees were repeat selections to the honor roll.

Seniors Julie Brechtel and Heidi Foland each made the honor roll for the sixth time in six semesters, while junior Nikki Haget was honored for the fourth time in four semesters and sophomore Megan Southworth was an honor roll selection in each of her first two semesters. Other repeat selections included juniors Ashley Guile (second) and Ashley Hagemann (third). Sophomore Gabby Banda was an honor roll selection for the first time.

Former Huskers Amanda Duran (third selection), Molly Hill (10th selection), Robin Mackin (4.0 GPA - third selection), Meghan Mullin (10th selection), Brittany Pascale (sixth selection) and Darcy Rutherford (fourth selection) also earned a spot on the honor roll. Duran, Mullin and Rutherford each earned their undergraduate degrees in May, while Hill made the honor roll as a graduate student.
