Lincoln - The Nebraska rifle team placed six competitors on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring semester. Student-athletes must earn a minimum 3.0 grade-point average to be eligible.
Junior Ryann McGough, a psychology major, led the way with her sixth straight appearance on the list, including a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fifth time in her career.
Seniors Amanda Jeffries and Christine Costello made the list for the final time in their Husker careers. Jeffries, an accounting major, qualified for the eighth time, while Costello, an economics major, appeared for the seventh time.
Sophomore Sheena Mahloch, a criminal justice major, earned the honor for the fourth time in her career, while her classmate, Katie Kostal, earned a spot on the list for the first time in her career. Kostal is a secondary education major.
Freshman Joyce Kim also appeared on the list for the first time her career. Kim is majoring in merchandising.
