Columbia, Mo. - After 18 holes the Nebraska men's golf team led the Columbia Orthopaedic Group Mizzou Intercollegiate Monday afternoon at the Club at Old Hawthorne. Senior Brandon Crick recorded a five-under-par 67 and claimed the first round lead, and three Huskers shot under par as NU scored a 282 (-6) to stake a one-stroke lead over Missouri.
In addition to Crick's performance, Mike Coatman carded a 69 to share third place. Brett Nymeyer also posted a red number in the morning round, as he shot 71 and is tied for seventh. Scott Willman and Andrew Wyatt each recorded a 75 and are tied for 32nd.
The second round wraps up Monday evening. Results will be posted following the conclusion of the round.
