Huskers in Fourth at Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic

Wichita, Kan. - The Nebraska men's golf team is in fourth place after two rounds at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic on Monday at the par-71 Wichita Country Club. The Huskers' scored a 36-hole team score of 595 and sit 13 strokes behind the host and leader, Wichita State.

Brandon Crick led the Huskers with a two-round total of 143 and is tied for second. Crick scored a 74 in the first round in windy conditions but responded with a 69 in the afternoon to move within one stroke of the Shockers' Tyler Gann.

Brett Nymeyer shot 74 and 76 for a 150 total and is tied for 21st. Scott Willman is tied for 30th after shooting a 152 through two rounds. Andrew Wyatt recorded a second round 72 and is tied for 38th at 154. Mike Coatman is tied for 44th at 156.

Tyler Parsloe, competing as an individual, shot 161 and is tied for 64th.

The final round tees off Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (Central).
