Parsloe played 20 rounds in his second year as a Husker en route to posting a top-four stroke average on the team at 75.60. Parsloe recorded a tie-for-18th finish at the season-opening Fairway Club Invitational and matched that at the St. Mary's Invitational three weeks later, while also recording a career-best 54-hole score of 217. During the fall schedule, Parsloe scored a career-low round of 71 three times. After wrapping up the fall as one of the Huskers' top-three golfers, Parsloe didn't crack the lineup in the spring until the Husker Shootout in March, where he finished 13th in the triangular. For the second straight season, Parsloe qualified to compete for the Huskers at the Big 12 Championships, where he tied for 55th with a 313. For the second straight season, Parsloe earned Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll membership in the fall.

Before Nebraska
Parsloe is the second golfer from ThunderRidge to play for Nebraska under Spangler, joining Ty Capps, who lettered at NU in 2006 and 2007. At ThunderRidge, Parsloe led his team to four consecutive Colorado 6A state titles. As a sophomore, Parsloe finished in a tie for fourth place at state and added another fourth-place finish as a junior in 2005. As a senior, Parsloe finished ninth to end his stellar prep career with three state titles and three top-10 individual finishes in Colorado's largest class. Parsloe was also extremely successful in the amateur ranks, winning the Colorado State Junior Match Play Championship in 2005 and 2006, while earning Colorado Junior Player-of-the-Year honors both years. Parsloe was the Colorado Junior Stroke Play champion in 2006 and won a Future Collegians World Tour event at Murphy Creek in Colorado. He also placed 26th at the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions. Parsloe was one of only four 16-year-old amateurs to advance to sectional qualifying for the 2006 U.S. Open.
