Nebraska Ranked 12th Nationally

Lincoln - After hitting a season-high team score in a second-place finish at the 2010 Big 12 Championship, the Nebraska women's gymnastics team stayed ranked at No. 12 in the latest GymInfo poll released Monday. The poll, which is calculated by regional qualifying score, also ranks NU third in the South Central region and second in the Big 12 Conference. In addition, the Huskers moved up to fifth nationally in team vault scoring (49.295), are ranked 16th on bars (49.03), 15th on beam (49.00) and are 11th on floor (49.195).

Individually, junior Erin Davis is tied at third in the vault rankings (9.935), and sophomore Lora Evenstad comes in tied at 19th on floor (9.90). The Huskers continue postseason play at regionals on April 6. The NCAA announces regional fields this afternoon.
