Oxford, Miss. - The Nebraska rifle team wrapped up its season Sunday with a third-place finish at the GARC Championships. The Huskers shot a 4,620 aggregate score, their second highest point total of the season.
Amanda Jeffries finished fourth in the combined individual standings. Jeffries shot a raw score of 590 in air rifle and took fifth in the final air rifle standings with a score of 689.1.
Katie Kostal, who on Saturday finished third in the smallbore discipline, finished seventh overall after a 578 in air rifle.
Christine Costello also finished in the top ten overall, securing a ninth-place spot for the Huskers. Ryann McGough rounded out the Huskers' scoring lineup with a 20th-place finish.
Ashley Lane, competing as an individual, finished 31st. Sheena Mahloch competed only in air rifle, but scored a 570.
Kentucky was the champion and West Virginia finished second.
