Huskers Stay Busy Outside of the Gym

While the weather is changing and the 2010 season is growing closer and closer, the Nebraska women's gymnastics team has been keeping busy with team bonding activities. Check out the photo albums above to see what the girls have been up to.

The Huskers recenetly spent an evening at associate head coach Danna Durante's house for a night of pumpkin carving. Times like this provide a good escape from the daily grind of practice, school and studying.

"It was a good bonding experience for us," Durante said. "We want them to be able to get off of campus, relax and have a nice evening together. We all had a blast."

In celebration of Halloween, the girls participated in a crazy hair day at practice. Among all of the crazy styles, Brittany Skinner came out as the winner.

The team also recently took photos for the 2010 media guide, schedule card and poster. Everyone enjoyed the chance to spend the afternoon posing for the camera.
