Huskers Travel to Midland Invitational

The Nebraska women’s tennis team will be sending three players to the Midland Invitational this weekend. The tournament will run from Sept. 18-20 and is the first fall competition of the year for the Huskers.

 

Sophomores Madeleine Geibert, Jennifer Holmberg and Mary Weatherholt will be making the trip to Midland, Texas. Last year, Geibert made the quarterfinals of the Main Draw while Weatherholt won the tournament as part of her 16-2 record during last year's fall season.

 

Teams participating in the Invitational include Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SMU, Rice, Pepperdine, Boise State, Baylor, UT-Arlington, TCU and North Texas.
