Game 19: Nebraska (12-6-1)  vs. #11 Oklahoma State (14-5)   

The Huskers are back in town, hosting No. 11 Oklahoma State in a key Big 12 series. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Hawks Field

Nebraska tacks some insurance runs on in the eighth inning, highlighted by a two-run double from Cody Neer, who has matched his career high with four RBIs

Nesseth allows a run, but strikes out Tom Belza with the bases loaded to preserve a 7-4 advantage heading into the bottom of the eighth

4:30 p.m.
The Huskers go down in order in the bottom of the seventh and lead 7-3 after seven innings.

4:18 p.m.
Mike Nesseth is in the game with two on and one out in the seventh with the Huskers holding a 7-3 lead on Oklahoma State. Nesseth retires the first two hitters he faces to get out of the jame.

4:11 p.m.
Kalkowski and Eric Rose combine on a shutout sixth inning, as NU leads 7-3 after six complete innings of work

3:48 p.m.
The Huskers put a runner on third base, but can't capitalize by pushing across a run. NU leads 7-3 after five innings

Kash Kalkowski works a scoreless fifth as NU leads 7-3 after four and a half innings

The Huskers knock Oliver out of the game with two more runs on RBI singles from Jake Mort and Adam Bailey to make it 7-3 after four innings

Nebraska flashes the leather once again as Kyle Bubak starts an inning-ending 6-4-3 DP to get NU out of a bases-loaded jam

3:01 p.m.
Nebraska uses the big inning once again, scoring five times off of Oliver, including a two-run double by Cody Neer and a two-run triple by Cody Asche. Huskers lead 5-3 after three frames.

2:42 p.m.
Hauptman puts the Cowboys down in order in the top of the third. Nebraska trails 3-0 after 2 and a 1/2 frames

2:39 p.m.
Jeff Tezak singles, but the Huskers are unable to get anything across and trail, 3-0 after two innings.

2:29 p.m.
Oklahoma State extends the Cowboys lead to 3-0 in the top of the third inning

2:24 p.m.
Jake Mort coaxes a one-out walk, but two straight fielder's choices end the bottom of the first for the Huskers. Oklahoma State leads 2-0 after one frame.

2:18 p.m.
Oklahoma State jumps out to an early 2-0 lead against Husker starter Casey Hauptman on RBI singles from Tom Belza and Neil Medchill.

2:03 p.m.
One addition at the end of the anthem is a cannon fired by the ROTC on campus

It is 54 degrees with winds from the South at 20-29 MPH (blowing across with gusts to left field)
