Game 18: Nebraska (11-5-1)  at No. 15 Arkansas (12-3)   

The Huskers wrap up their five-game road swing this afternoon, as they take on No. 15 Arkansas at 3 p.m. The game will be carried on selected Husker Sports Network Stations and on Huskers.com. 

5:56 p.m.
Nebraska erupts for six runs in the top of the ninth, getting two walk and three straight hits to take a 5-3 lead before Adam Bailey belted a two-run shot to make it a 7-3 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth.  

5:23 p.m.
Nesseth works a scoreless eighth inning as the Huskers will need to score twice in the top of the ninth to keep the game alive.

5:15 p.m.
Nebraska threatens in the eighth, getting a leadoff double from Kyle Bubak, but could not push across a run. NU trails 3-1 after seven and a half innings

4:59 p.m.
Both teams go down in order in the seventh, as Nebraska looks to overcome a 3-1 deficit heading into the top of the eighth.

4:47 p.m.
Sean Yost comes out of the bullpen and gets the Huskers out of a tough spot, striking out Travis Sample with runners on second and third. The call was met with ire by the Arkansas bench, as Todd Butler was ejected and put on an entertaining arguement with home plate umpire Myron Miller. Arkansas leads 3-1 after six innings.

4:29 p.m.
The Huskers threaten in the top of the sixth, putting two runners on, but could not get closer than 3-1 after five and a half innings.

4:17 p.m.
Andy Wilkins makes it 3-1with a solo homer into the bullpen in right field.

4:12 p.m.
The Huskers go down in order in the fifth against reliever Christian Kowalchuck and Nate Kerkhoff is now pitching for Nebraska

4:04 p.m.
Freeman was tossing a shutout over 3.2 innings until Andy Wilkins belted a two-run homer to left center. Arkansas now leads 2-1 after four innings.

3:51 p.m.
Nebraska got on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth, getting a sacrifice fly from Ben Kline to plate Adam Bailey. NU leads 1-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth.

3:41 p.m.
Its 3-up, 3-down for Arkansas in the bottom of the third, as Freeman has faced the minimum over three innings of work.

3:36 p.m.
DJ Belfonte was hit by a pitch and stole second, but the Huskers were unable to push across a run. We are scorless heading into the bottom of the third.

3:22 p.m.
The Huskers get out of the second with a nifty 4-6-3 double play, as Kyle Bubak dove to stop the ball and flipped the ball out of his glove to Ben Kline who caught it bare-handed and fired to first for the double play

3:22 p.m.
Sam Murphy sets the Huskers down in order in the top of the second, as we are scoreless heading into the bottom of the second

3:18 p.m.
Matt Freeman sets down the Hogs in order in the bottom of the first as Freeman makes his second career start.

3:13 p.m.
Adam Bailey extends his hit streak to 11 games with a single, but the Huskers are scoreless after the top of the first

2:55 p.m.
A much smaller crowd is on hand for today's afternoon matinee between the Huskers and Hogs, as it is spring break on the Arkansas campus. The Huskers are in their grey uniforms with red sleeves, while Arkansas is in its home white uniforms, although the green hats have been put away until next St. Patty's Day

2:15 p.m.
Lineups for today's game have now been posted and are now available.
