Huskers Ninth after Betsy Rawls First Found

Austin, Texas - The Nebraska women's golf team opened the three-day Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational with a 315 to sit in ninth place among the 15 teams in Austin, Texas on Friday.

Texas led the team standings with a 303, while Arkansas and TCU were just three strokes back at 306.

UT's Kelly Louth led the individual standings with an opening-round 69 on her home course at the University of Texas Golf Club. Lucy Nunn from Arkansas trailed by just one stroke with a first-round 70

Junior Allison Stewart led the Huskers with an opening-round 76, while true freshman Kate White added a 77. Junior Elli Brown (80) and senior Chrissie McArdle (82) rounded out NU's scoring lineup.
