Memphis, Tenn. - Senior Drew Reynolds led the Nebraska golf team with a final score of 222 (72-74-76) Monday at the historic Colonial Club's South Course in Memphis, Tenn. to lead the Huskers to a 15th-place finish in a talented field of 18 at the Memphis Intercollegiate. The Huskers finished with a total score of 904 (296-300-308). Reynolds' 222 left him in a tie for 31st individually, while senior Brady Schnell shot a total of 227 (72-75-80) to stand in a tie for 53rd. Senior Ty Capps finished third for the Huskers with a 230 (74-76-80), placing him in a tie for 67th individually. Senior Ryan Lenahan finished with a total score of 231 (81-75-75) and the team's best third-round finish to place him in a tie for 69th and round out the Husker's scoring lineup. Freshman Jamie Marshall finished with a total score of 233 (78-78-77) to finish in a tie for 79th individually. The University of Louisville snagged a seven-under par team total of 857 (282-281-294) to win the tournament. TCU was second with 868 (288-288-292), while the University of Wisconsin rounded out the top three finishers with 876 (293-292-292). Nebraska will have nearly two weeks off before resuming play for their fourth fall tournament at the Louisiana Tech/Squire Creek Intercollegiate Golf Classic on Oct. 16-17 in Ruston, La.
