Memphis, Tenn. - Senior Drew Reynolds shot a 146 (72-74) Monday at the historic Colonial Club's South Course in Memphis, Tenn., to lead the Nebraska men's golf team to a tie for 10th place in a talented field of 16 through the first round of the Memphis Intercollegiate. The Huskers finished with a total score of 596 (296-300) through the first two rounds, tying with UNC-Greensboro (298-298) to stand just nine strokes out of a spot in the top five in the close tournament. Reynolds' 146 left him in a tie for 19th individually, while senior Brady Schnell shot a total of 147 (72-75) to stand in a tie for 25th. Senior Ty Capps finished third for the Huskers with a 150 (74-76), placing him in a tie for 44th individually. Senior Ryan Lenahan (81-75) and freshman Jamie Marshall (78-78) both shot a 156 to round out the Husker lineup and stand in a tie for 78th individually. Nebraska will resume play at 8 a.m. in the third and final round of the Memphis Intercollegiate Tuesday morning. -Huskers-
