Martin Closes NU Career with Degree

Lincoln-Nebraska bowler Jamie Martin was among 54 University of Nebraska student-athletes to graduate in the spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday at the BobDevaneySportsCenter. 

 

The impressive 2006 graduating class includes nine student-athletes who combined for 24 All-America awards.  Martin, an Omaha, Neb., native, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science.    

 

Martin, a 2005 second-team All-American, helped the Husker bowlers capture two NCAA titles during her Husker career.  She also claimed the Coca-Cola Invitational individual title in 2005. 

 

Academically, Martin was named to the 2004 Big 12 Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll.
