The Nebraska softball team has announced the dates and times for its 2005 Fall Clinic Series. The beginner and intermediate clinic for pitchers will be held Oct. 25 and 27 and Nov. 1 and 3 at the NU indoor hitting facility (2005 Y Street). The elite pitcher/catcher clinic will be held Nov. 4 and 5 at the Championship Indoor Center on the Nebraska main campus.
Cost for the beginner and intermediate clinics for pitchers is $65 for four sessions. A maximum of 15 pitchers will be allowed in each session. Instructors for the clinic include NU Associate Head Coach and Canadian National Team Head Coach Lori Sippel. Sippel was also a former All-American pitcher for NU and will team up with former Husker All-Americans Peaches James and Jenny Voss.
The cost for the elite pitcher/catcher clinic is $75 and includes three two-hour sessions. The entire Nebraska coaching staff, including Head Coach Rhonda Revelle and former All-American catcher and NU Assistant Coach Jen Ogee will instruct the campers. Peaches James and Jenny Voss, along with current Husker pitchers and catchers will also help the particpants hone their skills.
