Huskers Place Four On Academic Big 12

Dallas, TX -- The University of Nebraska women's tennis team placed four players on the Big 12 academic all-conference team.

Biological Sciences major, senior Amy Frisch and political science major, sophomore Rebecca Harvey were named to the first team. Nebraska placed two on the second team led by international business major, senior Katarina Balan and advertising major, sophomore Leslie Harvey.

Under Head Coach Scott Jacobson, Nebraska has produced 20 Academic All-conference selections during his 11 years.

To qualify student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 grade point average or high either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
