Huskers in 11th at Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate

The Nebraska men's golf team finished the first two rounds of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Monday in 11th place, totaling 600 strokes after 36 holes.

Denver finished the day as the team leader after shooting a 565. San Diego's Berry Henson and Erik Billinger of Denver share the lead in the individual rankings with a two-round score of 138 after the first day.

Freshman Jonathan Aten and junior Jim Troy led the Huskers and are in a tie for 32nd place after both carded a 149 through two rounds, 11 strokes off the lead. Senior Blake Humbles and junior J.J. Sullivan both ended the first day in a tie for 41st, with a total of 151. Justin Borzych rounded out the Husker squad with a 154 on the day.

The tournament will conclude Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes to be played at the Riverdale Dunes Golf Course.
