Blake Humbles Season 2000-01

Senior (2001-02)
Blake Humbles competed in every tournament for the fall campaign, leading the team on several occasions. His best finish came in the final tournament of the fall schedule with a tie for 20th in the Henry Griffits/Baylor Invitational. He recorded rounds of 76, 69 and 69 for a total score of 214, the lowest three-round score of any husker for the fall. Over 15 rounds, he recorded a scoring average of 74.60.

Junior (2000-01)
Humbles competed in a total of 9.5 rounds throughout the schedule and finished with a scoring average of 76.00. Humbles recorded his best finish in the Fairway Club Invitational. Although he competed as an individual, he finished in 12th place with a score of 222.

Before Nebraska
Humbles earned first-team all-conference honors at Riverside Community College and had a 73.2 conference average. He lettered in golf for four years in high school and was a three-time qualifier for the California Interscholastic Federation Finals.

Personal
Blake is the son of Howard and Monica Humbles and has one brother, Blaine (28) and a nephew, Garrett (5)...is majoring in economics... was born on August 8, 1980...spends summers playing golf and attending school...favorite golf course is Callaway Gardens.
