Notes:
The No. 7 Huskers had their 13-game winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to No. 6 Texas A&M in the Big 12 Conference Tournament final at the Blossom Soccer Stadium in San Antonio, Texas. The Aggies scored two goals in a six-minute span late in the first half to end the Huskers' hopes for back-to-back Big 12 Tournament titles. Sharon Pickering scored the Aggies' first goal off an assist from Alison Peters, before Pickering found Peters for the game-winning goal at 32:37. The Pickering/Peters combination was the same tandem that posted the game winner in Nebraska's regular-season loss to the Aggies in College Station. Big 12 Conference Player of the Year Bryn Blalack added the third goal for the Aggies at 74:00. Kim Engesser prevented a Texas A&M shutout with her goal at 75:18 for her fifth goal of the tournament. Engesser also set the Nebraska single-season record with 23 goals and 49 points on the season. Engesser, Kari Uppinghouse, Jenny Benson and Sharolta Nonen earned spots on the all-tournament team. Despite the loss, the Huskers earned their second consecutive bid into the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament, where they play host to Big Ten Conference Tournament champion Michigan at the Abbott Sports Complex.
