Notes:
The No. 7 Huskers opened Big 12 Conference Tournament play with a 4-1 thumping of Baylor at the Blossom Soccer Stadium in San Antonio, Texas. Nebraska junior Kim Engesser set a Nebraska and Big 12 Tournament single-game record by scoring all four of the Huskers' goals against the Bears. Her second goal of the game came on a penalty kick at 49:50 after Jenny Benson was taken down in the box. Engesser's goal on the penalty kick was her 20th of the season to set the Husker single-season record, snapping Kari Uppinghouse's mark of 19 goals in 1996. The Huskers extended their winning streak to 13 games and advanced to the tournament final for the second straight year.
