Junior outside hitter Anna Schrad produced a season-high 16 kills to lead the fifth-ranked Nebraska volleyball team to a 30-25, 30-16, 30-27, at Ahearn Field House. Schrad erred just once in 37 attacks for a team-best .405 hitting percentage, and she also added five digs and four blocks.

Senior outside hitter Laura Pilakowski added 10 kills while swinging at a .333 clip. Senior libero Lindsay Wischmeier posted a match-best 18 digs, and senior middle blocker Amber Holmquist tallied 10 blocks to lead the defensive effort. NU held the Wildcats to a .119 hitting percentage, and out-blocked them 15-1.

With the victory, Nebraska improved to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the Big 12 Conference. Kansas State fell to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in the league.
