Three Nebraska men's swimmers combined for four CoSIDA Academic All-America awards for the Huskers between 1993 and 2001.

Justin Switzer (First Team, 1993; First Team 1994)
Nebraska's only two-time first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American swimmer, Justin Switzer earned his first award as a member of the men's at-large team in 1993. He made it back-to-back first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors by winning his second award in 1994. Switzer, who came to Nebraska from Beaumont, Texas, was the 1991 Big Eight champion in the 1,650-yard freestyle.

Michael Windisch (First Team, 2000)
Nebraska's most recent first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American in men's swimming, Michael Windisch captured first-team honors in 2000. A highly decorated competitor in the pool, Windisch was a seven-time All-American for the Huskers. Windisch also captured back-to-back Big 12 individual conference championships in the 400 individual medley in 1997 and 1998. Windisch came to Nebraska from Pretoria, South Africa, and majored in international business. After capturing CoSIDA Academic All-America honors as a member of the men's at-large team, Windisch competed for his parents' home country of Austria in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He participated in the 200 and 400 IM events and the 200 butterfly for Austria in the Olympics.

Jon Hahn (Third Team, 2001)
Nebraska's final CoSIDA Academic All-American, Jon Hahn earned third-team honors as a member of the at-large team in 2001. A mechanical engineering major at Nebraska, Hahn was a junior breaststroke/IM competitor when he claimed CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the Huskers. Hahn came to Nebraska from Longmont, Colo.
