Huskers are Headed to Tampa
The Nebraska volleyball team was selected as the No. 1 overall seed for the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. After winning four matches at home, and sweeping Pitt in the Semifinals, the Huskers are headed to the NCAA Finals in Tampa.
Nebraska will face Texas on Sunday at 2 p.m. (Central) on ABC in the NCAA Final.
The Huskers opened the NCAA Tournament with a sweep of Long Island before sweeping No. 8 seed Missouri in the second round. NU defeated No. 5 seed Georgia Tech, 3-0, in the NCAA Regional Semifinal before topping No. 3 seed Arkansas, 3-1, to punch their ticket to Tampa.
Nebraska advances to its 11th all-time appearance in an NCAA Final and fifth time in the past nine seasons after sweeping Pitt in the Semifinal match.
