Zach Wirz

Zach Wirz joined Nebraska Athletics as a Facilities Associate in September 2025. Wirz is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Memorial Stadium, Osborne Legacy Complex and other athletic facilities. He also assists with the set up and tear down of events utilizing athletic facilities. 

Prior to the Huskers, Wirz worked at the GreenState Family Fieldhouse in Coralville, Iowa, as the Fieldhouse Operations Assistant. In this role, Wirz managed and assisted with all events utilizing the facility, from local practices to dance competitions. He also assisted with the day-to-day operaitons of the connecting Xtream Arena, and all events held in the facility. 

Wirz also had experience working as a Facility Supervisor at the Iowa Fieldhouse, managing a team of four tasked with maintaining all security and health protocols as well as managing equipment and space rentals.
