Ty Henry

Ty Henry joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as an assistant academic counselor in June of 2019. He serves as an academic counselor and mentor for a variety of teams at Nebraska. Henry also assists with aspects of the tutorial program and letter winners.

Prior to coming to Nebraska, Henry served as a part-time academic assistant in the Office of Student-Athlete Development at Iowa State University from 2016-2019. He was a class checker, football mentor and night study hall monitor. He was also a former baseball club student-athlete at Iowa State from 2012-2016 and served as the team operations assistant from 2016-2019.   

An Iowa native, Henry graduated from Iowa State with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and minor in leadership studies in 2016. He also graduated from Iowa State with a master’s degree in youth development in 2019.
