Sydney James Hulme

Sydney James (SJ) Hulme served as head coach support/football staff operations from February to August of 2023. In her role, she coordinated Matt Rhule’s schedule while also assisting with all administrative aspects of the Husker football program.

Hulme came to Nebraska after gaining operational and recruiting experience at Ole Miss. She spent the 2022 season in a full-time role in football operations with the Rebels. In her role, Hulme prepared the weekly schedule for head coach Lane Kiffin, along with numerous administrative duties including organizing team travel and lodging, coordinating meals, ticket management and serving as a point of contact for fans and student-athlete families.

Previously, Hulme spent the 2021 season as a football operations and recruitment student intern with Ole Miss as she worked to complete her undergraduate degree. A Texas native, Hulme earned her bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation administration with a business minor from the University of Mississippi in 2022.
