Sheryl Burbach

 Sheryl Burbach is in her 12th season with the Husker basketball program and ninth as assistant director of basketball operations.
 
Burbach handles many of the business and operational functions for the coaching staff, including staff travel, expense management and budgeting. She coordinates events around the Husker basketball program, including Alumni Weekend and Senior Night. She assists in team travel, the coordination of the Fred Hoiberg Basketball Camps and Clinics, as well as day-to-day office operations. Burbach also manages speaking and charitable requests for Coach Hoiberg and the basketball coaching staff.
 
Prior to joining Nebraska Athletics, Burbach worked for Nebraska’s 4-H Office and Nebraska Extension.
 
Burbach is originally from Sumner, Neb., and moved to Lincoln during high school. She and her husband, Melvin, have four sons, John, Grant, Matthew and Christopher.
