Ryan Wells

Wells worked for the Huskers in various roles from August 2015 until February 2024. Wells joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as a full-time staff member in July 2019 as a venue technology specialist. Wells was promoted to wireless network technician while still overseeing venue technology in May 2022. Prior to his full-time status, Wells served as an intern in the communications department from August 2015 to May 2016 and as a basketball statistician from October 2016 to July 2019.
 
Wells was the technical specialist for every varsity sport. He also oversaw and managed the wireless network in several athletic facilities.
 
A native of Norfolk, Neb., Wells earned his associate degree in PC support and networking from Northeast Community College in 2011 and his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Wayne State College in 2015.
