Ragean Hill

Ragean Hill was named academic counselor and coordinator of multicultural programs in June of 2004. Hill came to Lincoln after a one-year stint as a graduate assistant at KansasState.

Hill oversees multicultural programming for student-athletes and monitors the academic progress for members of the women's basketball, men's and women's tennis and golf and the Husker swimming programs. In addition, she coordinates new student-athlete orientation and graduation receptions.

Before joining the Husker staff, Hill worked as an academic graduate assistant at KansasState in 2003-04, mentoring student-athletes, helping with botany tutorial programs and assisting in the Life Skills program.

A native of Redlands, Calif., Hill earned her bachelor’s degree in life science from KansasState in 2002 and her master’s degree from KSU in 2004. She also was a member of the Wildcats’ track and field teams for two seasons as an undergraduate.
