Rachel Voet (MS, RD, LMNT) joined Husker Athletics in July of 2023 working with performance nutrition as the in-house dietitian for the Lewis Training Table. Voet oversees and ensures functionality of Notemeal. Voet also assists with counseling, education and accommodations for student-athletes who have food allergies.
Voet previously served as the Director of Sport Nutrition for Football at Iowa State University from January 2020 until July 2023. At Iowa State, Voet was responsible for all performance-nutrition related services and one-on-one consultations for the Cyclone football team related to body composition, hydration, supplementation and individualized fueling. She oversaw the opening of the first student-athlete training table and fueling station in the Stark Performance Center and oversaw a budget of $2.5 million. During spring of 2022, Voet served as the only Performance Dietitian in the Athletic Department, providing medical nutrition therapy and support to both football and Olympic Sport Teams. Throughout this time at Iowa State, the football team competed in the 2020 Big 12 Championship game, 2020 Fiesta Bowl and 2021 Cheeze-it Bowl.
Prior to her time at Iowa State, Voet worked in Nebraska’s Performance Nutrition Department as a Sport Nutrition Fellow primarily supporting football, overseeing undergraduate student workers at fueling stations and Lewis Training Table and managing inventory for the Performance Nutrition Department.
Voet received her bachelor's and masters degrees in dietetics and kinesiology at Iowa State University.
Rachel, a native of Omaha, Neb., and her husband, Josh, have one son, Oliver, and are expecting their second child in February 2024.
