Patrick Reno

Patrick Reno enters his first year as an assistant academic counselor in the Nebraska Athletic Department. Reno will assist Associate Director of Academic Programs Kim Schellpeper with football and Associate Director of Academic Programs Katie Jewell with baseball.

In addition to his duties with football and baseball, Reno will assist with New Student Enrollment and the distribution of grade cards.

Before coming to Nebraska, Reno served as a media relations intern for the Fayetteville Patriots in the National Basketball Development League and as a sports information intern at the University of Oregon. He was also a graduate assistant in the compliance office and an instructional tutor for student-athletes at KU.

A native of Fort Collins, Colo., Reno graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Kansas in 2006. He is enrolled as a graduate student in educational administration at Nebraska.
