Morgan Fisher enters her first year as an assistant academic counselor in the Nebraska Athletic Department after being hired in August of 2007.
Fisher will assist Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Keith Zimmer in coordinating the Huskers' award-winning Life Skills program. She will also mentor student-athletes from women's swimming and diving team.
Before joining the Nebraska Athletic Department, Fisher worked in the office of admissions at Kansas State, where she also earned her bachelor's degree in business administration in 2004.
During her time at Kansas State, Fisher served as the co-chair of the Big 12 Planning Committee. She was also a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society.
Fisher completed her master's degree in education with a specialization in sports administration from Bowling Green State in the summer of 2007. At Bowling Green State, Fisher was an assistant in student-athlete services and taught beginner's bowling.
Fisher is a native of Wichita, Kan.
