Michael Bania

Michael Bania is in his eighth year with Nebraska basketball and third as video coordinator after being promoted to the position in 2023. In his role, he oversees film breakdown and exchanges for the coaching staff, oversees opponent scouting, coordinates the program’s digital catalog and is in charge of the Husker managers.

 

Bania was a student manager throughout his undergraduate career under Tim Miles and Fred Hoiberg before serving as a graduate manager in 2022-23. Bania, who was NU’s head student manager for two years, worked with the video staff in game and practice video breakdowns, opponent scouting and coordinating NU’s student managers. 

 

The Issaquah, Wash., native received his degree in mathematics from Nebraska in 2022 and a master’s degree in educational administration from Nebraska in 2024.

 

Michael and his wife, Danielle, reside in Lincoln.
