Melissa Baack

Melissa Baack joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as an accountant in October of 2011. She was named Director of Business Enterprises in July 2016 and Assistant Athletic Director of Business Enterprises in April of 2023.

Baack’s oversaw camps and clubs, travel, athletics employee expense reimbursement, contracts, sales tax, occupation tax and turnback tax reporting. She handled business processes related to the NU Foundation, Nebraska Athletics Ticket Office and the athletics department's concessions area. 

A native of Topeka, Kan., Baack earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Washburn University.

Before coming to Nebraska Baack worked as an accountant in the finance office at Washburn University.

Melissa and her husband, Duane, have a son, Hudson.
