Mark Springett joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in August of 2019 as a marketing assistant. Springett oversees marketing and fan experience efforts for soccer, men’s gymnastics, women’s gymnastics and baseball. He is also in charge of sideline recognitions at home football games and oversees the Husker Nation Pavilion.
Springett came to Nebraska after working as a marketing graduate assistant at the University of Iowa.
While at Iowa, Springett was a student-athlete on the men’s gymnastics team and finished a successful career in 2018. During his collegiate career he was a three-time academic All-Big Ten honoree, a three-time College Gymnastics Association All-America Scholar Athlete, a three-time Presidential Committee on Athletics Medalist and a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Springett received his bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management in the spring of 2017. He continued his education at Iowa and received his master’s degree in the same field in the spring of 2019.
