Mark Cody was an assistant coach for Tim Nuemann at Nebraska for 12 seasons from 1988-2000, developing into a valuable part of the Husker program. Cody helped the Huskers produce six top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, including NU's highest finish ever with a third-place performance in 1993. The Huskers also claimed the conference crown in 1993 and 1995. Cody coached 38 Huskers to All-America status during his time in Lincoln, including assisting with four national champions and seven NCAA finalists.
Cody arrived at Nebraska after serving as an assistant coach at Missouri for the 1985-86 season. He also was an assistant at Bloomsburg and Oklahoma State.
A three-time All-American, Cody spent two years at the State University of New York at Dehli before transferring to Missouri in 1982.
Cody earned his bachelor's degree in business from Bloomsburg University in 1987. Cody is a native of Binghamton, N.Y.
