Lory Baker

Lory Baker is in her first year as an assistant academic counselor within the Nebraska Athletic Academic Center. 

Baker assists the volleyball, wrestling, softball, gymnastics and bowling teams during the 2008-09 academic year.

In addition to mentoring athletes, she will be assisting with the tutorial program as well as helping with the Summer Bridge Program.

Before coming to Nebraska, Baker was an elementary teacher for five years after graduating from Juniata College, where she competed in volleyball.   She recently earned her masters degree in supervision and administration from Frostburg State University in August of 2008.

Lory is a native to McConnellsburg, Pa.
