Lincoln Arneal

Lincoln Arneal enters his second year with the Nebraska Athletic Department as a compliance office intern in 2011-12.

Originally from North Bend, Neb., Arneal graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in journalism, majoring in both news-editorial and history. 

Following graduation, Arneal worked as a sports writer and then sports editor for the Columbus Telegram in Columbus, Neb., before moving back to Lincoln to pursue a law degree. He was a member of several honor societies and served as the Student Bar Association class president and the president of the Nebraska Entertainment and Sports Law Association while in law school. He also worked as a sports correspondent for the Lincoln Journal Star.

Arneal completed his juris doctorate degree from University of Nebraska Law College in May of 2010.
