Laura Leffler joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as a graphic design assistant in May 2016 and was hired fulltime as a graphic designer coordinator in July of 2017. Leffler was promoted to assistant director of creative & emerging media in April of 2018.
Leffler assists in initiatives related to digital and print design for the athletic department. Projects are used online and their printed counterparts for fan engagement and recruiting initiatives, assisting in social and digital media creative campaigns including web design and content creation.
Leffler aids in managing the graphic design student development program and works with other designers and creative personnel in the creative and emerging media department on cross sport projects, including but not limited to posters, media guide covers and schedule cards.
Prior to Nebraska, Leffler served as a graphic designer for the Oklahoma State Athletic Department, where worked closely with the marketing team to enhance its sports messaging. Leffler created social media graphics for OSU sporting events, as well as designed printed materials, t-shirts, postcards and digital billboards. Leffler also served as the art director for various projects and assisted with team photo shoots.
A native of Kearney, Neb., Leffler graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2016 with a degree in graphic design. She and her husband, Tyler, live in Lincoln with their dog, Zoey.
