Kristen Nett enters her first season as the Director of Charitable Relations within Nebraska Life Skills in 2026, after spending the past two years as assistant director of community and charitable relations.
Nett is responsible for planning and executing community outreach campaigns under the Life Skills & Community Engagement Department. Nett also individually meets with and provides guidance and support to student-athletes from women's gymnastics, men's gymnastics and swim & dive.
Nett has a background in overseeing minor and major league baseball foundations and community outreach efforts including experience with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and the Kansas City Royals. Prior to Nebraska, Nett served as the Community and Schools Impact Coordinator with Special Olympics Kansas.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nett earned her degree in child, youth and family studies in 2019. She also worked as a student assistant for the Nebraska Athletic Communications department.
Kristen, a native of of Stoughton, Wisconsin, enjoys cheering on the Green Bay Packers. In her free time, she likes to read, play guitar, sing and work on her nonprofit, Women in Sports Helping Inspire the Next Generation (WISHING).
