Katie Prchlik

Katie Prchlik joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in November of 2019 as an assistant director of marketing and fan experience. In her role, Prchlik oversees marketing and fan experience efforts for women’s basketball, softball and men's and women's tennis. Additionally, she is responsible for running and overseeing the Iron N, Intern Program, student initiatives, student emails and the Nebraska Kids Club.

Prchlik came to Nebraska from Utah State, where she served as the lead marketing contact for women’s basketball, cross country, track and field, men’s and women’s tennis, soccer and golf. She also was the court lead for men’s basketball and on-field lead for football, and oversaw the intern program and kids club. For the programs where she was the lead marketing contact, Prchlik was responsible for the program's social media accounts.

Prior to her time at Utah State, Prchlik was at McNeese State from 2015-16. She assisted in developing and implementing marketing initiatives for all McNeese sports programs throughout the academic year. She was responsible for community outreach efforts through the McNeese Kids Club and Rowdy’s Readers programs, worked daily in ticketing and served as the main production coordinator for football home games.

Prchlik graduated from the University of Michigan 2015 with a bachelors degree in communication studies and history. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications degree with specialization in Integrated Mass Media at Nebraska.
