Kate Dean

Kate Dean worked for Nebraska Athletics from September of 2021 until May of 2024. Dean was promoted to assistant director of community and charitable relations in June of 2022 after serving in the Nebraska Athletic Department as a community relations assistant since September of 2021. Dean managed community outreach efforts, autograph requests and speaking appearance requests.

Dean previously worked as a student assistant in the Nebraska Athletic Communications office from May 2018 to May 2021. She served as the primary women’s tennis communications contact and assisted with men's tennis. Dean helped manage communications operations at the 2018 Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament and the 2021 Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament. 

Dean is from Lincoln, Neb., and graduated from UNL in 2021 with a degree in business administration.
