Kaitlyn Schmeling serves as the Assistant Director of Donor Experience, a role she proudly stepped into following her promotion in December 2025. She began her journey with the Huskers Athletic Fund as an intern, gaining two years of hands-on experience while completing her studies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She partners closely with the Huskers Athletic Fund development team to curate memorable game-day environments, ensuring that every fan and donor feels valued and connected to the Husker community. Her commitment to service, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for Nebraska Athletics continue to shape the experience of thousands of guests each season.
Schmeling earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Media & Mass Communications with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2025. A proud alum, she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the university that has played such a meaningful role in her personal and professional growth.
