Justin Switzer placed ninth in the 500 freestyle, fourth in the 1,650 freestyle and sixth in the 400 IM at the Big Eight Championships...fifth all-time fastest 1,650 free time in school history...captured first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the second straight season by claiming a spot on the men's at-large team...earned first-team academic All-Big Eight accolades for the third straight season.

1993: Junior Season
Placed in three events at the conference meet for the second consecutive year, including a third-place 15:32.25 clocking in the 1,650 free, which lowered his personal best and ranked fifth on the Husker all-time list...claimed first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the first time as a junior...earned first-team academic All-Big Eight accolades with a 3.93 GPA.

1992: Sophomore Season
Placed second in the 1,650 freestyle, fourth in the 500 free and the 400 IM at the Big Eight Championships...set career-best time in the 400 IM with 3:57.89...earned first-team academic All-Big Eight honors with a 4.0 GPA.

1991: Freshman Season
Claimed the Big Eight Conference title in the 1,650 free with a time of 15:44.00...finished second in the 500 free, while swimming a career-best 4:29.94...won the student-athlete award for men's swimming.
